Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature reduces human anger, fear and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature makes humans feel better emotionally and contributes to their physical well-being. Humans are genetically programmed to find trees, plants, water and other nature elements engrossing, and when absorbed by nature scenes are distracted from pain and discomfort. Ellie Cares invites terminally ill children to Adventures with Elephants and we visit hospitals and schools educating the children about nature and the elephants assisted by Ellie, our custom-made Mascot.
