APA는 이런 시상을 통해 보다 나은 세상을 만들고자 하는 아시아의 개인 및 단체가 자신의 가치와 비전을 실현하는데 도움을 주는 것을 목적으로 합니다. 2015년 비영리 영역에 일하고 있는 100여 명의 사람들이 모여 시작한 APA는 아시아 지역에서 사회문제 해결과 공동체 가치 실현에 헌신하는 필란트로피스트를 찾아내 사회의 귀감으로 삼고 보다 나은 세상을 만들고자 시작되었습니다. APA가 다른 시상식과 차별화되는 이유는 정부와 기업, 또는 영향력 있는 개인의 후원 없이 비영리 활동가들이 독립적으로 운영한다는 점입니다. 시민과 비영리 활동가들이 자발적으로 참여하며, 5개 기준(공헌성, 혁신성, 신뢰성, 확장성, 지속성)을 바탕으로 엄격한 심사를 거처 수상자가 선정됩니다.

느티나무 장애인주간이용시설이 2011년 12월 개원하여 만 13년째 같은 자리에서 중증 발달장애인 지원을 위해 애써오고 있습니다. 연 16,000천원이라는 열악한 지원 속에서도 이용 장애인들에게 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위해 프로그램과 환경 조성을 위해 최선을 다하고는 있으나, 아무리 관리를 잘하고 있어도 13년이 지나다보니 시설 내부 벽면과 바닥재 손상에 대해서는 어쩔 수 없는 듯 합니다. 이에 샵도네이션 후원모금을 통해 이용 장애인들의 활동공간 도배, 바닥재 교체 등 환경개선을 진행하고자 합니다. 많은 분들의 관심과 지원 부탁드립니다.

Elke twee minuten sterft ergens ter wereld een vrouw aan baarmoederhalskanker. Ruim 85% van deze vrouwen is afkomstig uit ontwikkelingslanden. Het gaat vaak om jonge moeders die de spil zijn van het huishouden en onmisbaar zijn voor het gezinsinkomen. Wanneer zij wegvallen heeft dit grote gevolgen voor de familie en voor het dorp waarin zij wonen. Female Cancer Foundation streeft naar een wereld zonder baarmoederhalskanker. Dit doen wij door het ter plekke verlenen van zorg (screening en behandeling), het geven van educatie en voorlichting en het verrichten van onderzoek in het betreffende land. We werken hierbij altijd samen met een lokale partner. Daarbij richten we ons op goede voorlichting voor vrouwen (en mannen!) en trainen we lokale gezondheidswerkers in de See & Treat methode. Dit is hun verhaal. Stichting Dierenambulance de Wijs is een organisatie die zich inzet voor dieren in nood. Deze toegewijde groep vrijwilligers werkt 24/7 om de dieren die op hun pad komen te helpen. Hun missie is om dieren in nood te voorzien van de medische zorg die ze nodig hebben en om ze te helpen een liefdevol thuis te vinden. Het werk van de stichting is niet gemakkelijk. Het helpen van dieren kost veel geld. De kosten van medische behandelingen, voedsel, onderdak en transport kunnen snel oplopen. Maar de vrijwilligers van de stichting laten zich niet ontmoedigen door deze uitdagingen. Zij zetten zich in om fondsen te werven en donaties te verzamelen om hun werk voort te zetten. The Hope Exchange is a 44-year-old NPO in the heart of Cape Town that helps the homeless and people at risk of becoming so. Hope starts with dignity, and The Hope Exchange allows the homeless to be respected for who they are, to be acknowledged and not dismissed. We provide our clients with the opportunity to shower, wash their clothes, get a meal, get clinic care, attend vocational training and receive social support. By providing these services, we create touch points of contact with people to assess their circumstances and start a conversation with them to help them get off the street or get help with other problems like drug addiction, abuse or mental illness.

We are actively working in social relief where our projects are aimed at vulnerable women and children especially,Our area of operation is Delft. We rely on donations for our work . We feed 150-200 per day at our soup kitchen per day. Arise Restoration Centre is a haven for people that struggle with life controlling problems, people who need a second chance in life. We take people in from the street, and we give them a home, a family environment full of love and take care of all their needs. We walk an intimate road with each person to aid the long-term process of reintegrating them back into society. Our service offering brings relief to sex trafficking survivors, drug addicts, alcoholics and any person who needs a second chance in life.

We rescue abused and neglected horses and do outreach programs into community areas, and take feed, tack, basic medical supplies and treat the horses and educate the owners. We also bring in abused children and youth and victims of human trafficking to interact with the herd and find peace, healing and hope. We are planning another outreach and need funds to buy the medical supplies and feed. We help 90 children and 40 women every month. We see 60 to 70 horses on each outreach and ensure each one has what it needs and the owner is educated in proper care, feeding and riding. We have made a difference and saved many lives, both horse and human .

Ihata Care Group comprises of 3 elder care facilities, a shelter for abused women and children and a child protection center for adolescent girls and young women. Ihata Shelter for Abused women and children is based in the heart of the Cape Flats. We offer shelter and sanctuary as well as programs to educate, uplift and empower vulnerable women. The Ihata Care Group elder care homes focus on frail care residents, we provide extensive care and therapeutic care. Ihata Care Group Child Protection Centre focuses on adolescent girls and young women. We provide various opportunities for the residents in our care and a safe place to stay.

Abraham Kriel Children’s Home is a haven for 170 children who were placed by a court order in the care of the children’s home, due to different kinds of abuse. We provide for the needs of these children and we try to help each child to develop to their full potential. State subsidy covers only 30% of expenses. State subsidy does not keep up with inflation. Food price rise The needs of children become greater Fuel prices, toll fees, school fees, and other household expenses have doubled in the last few years. Unforeseen expenses occur regularly. We must emphasize that we only concentrate on necessities and that luxuries are not an option.

Graskop animals in need is an animal shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and re homes animals. We work in the disadvantaged areas of our community and have a feeding scheme and sterilization campaign. Due to a 70% unemployment rate in Graskop, donations are basically non existent, to sustain the shelter. Our sim this coming year is to acquire a large piece of land where a Graskop Town Shelter can be built.

Cupcakes Of Hope raises funds for children diagnosed with cancer, they do this through their love of baking and enjoying cupcakes. Volunteers are invited to become Cupcake Angels and 'bake a difference' and host fundraisers at work, their church or child's school. Cupcake of HOPE assist more than 200 patients every month by paying for their medical and other day-to-day needs like nutritional food and nappies to wheelchairs, crutches and prosthetics. This year more than 2500 Educational Activity Care Packs have been delivered to all 20 pediatric oncology wards across South Africa. SPK care for over 700 Community Cats (Ferals) in the Centurion area. We provide shelter, feeding stations, food and water, medical care and sterilise as many cats as we can. We educate on the role of Community Cats and the importance of sterilising and caring for a colony to avoid the vaccum effect.

We willen de kinderen laten merken, dat zij niet de enige zijn in een dergelijke situatie, maar dat vele andere kinderen thuis dezelfde dingen meemaken.

Stichting Social Dent (ANBI) is opgericht om mensen te ondersteunen die een kroon, brug of andere tandtechnische voorziening nodig hebben, maar deze zelf niet kunnen bekostigen.

We zien in de samenleving een steeds groter wordende kloof tussen arm & rijk, gelukkig & ongelukkig, gezond & ongezond. Wij vinden het onbegrijpelijk dat er in Nederland 220.000 kinderen opgroeien in armoede, er 36.000 mensen dakloos zijn, er meer dan 590.000 ernstig eenzame ouderen zijn en er elk jaar meer dan 35.000.000 kilo zwerfafval op straat eindigt. In onze huidige samenleving zijn deze problemen voor veel mensen niet zichtbaar. Zij blijven in hun eigen bubbel en komen niet in aanraking met deze maatschappelijke uitdagingen. Mensen die wel willen bijdragen weten vaak niet hoe en waar te beginnen. Nederland telt meer dan 1,8 miljoen bedrijven en de werkzame beroepsbevolking bestaat uit meer dan 9 miljoen mensen. Wij willen de samenleving ervan weerhouden om naar elkaar te wijzen door nú in actie te komen en onszelf af te vragen wat we eerlijk en rechtvaardig vinden. NL Cares is op een missie om mensen en organisaties in staat te stellen en te inspireren om hun tijd, vaardigheden en middelen in te zetten om de grote uitdagingen van onze tijd het hoofd te bieden. Ons doel is om een ecosysteem te bouwen van actie & impact dat dient als een hefboom om de wereld in beweging te brengen op een manier die ons alleen nooit zou lukken. Een caring society bouwen lukt je niet alleen. Er is samenwerking nodig met individuele vrijwilligers en bedrijven. Maar ook met mensen en organisaties die voor de troepen uit lopen; van maatschappelijke organisaties tot impactnetwerken en van beleidsmakers tot fondsen. Alleen door het aangaan van samenwerkingen binnen alle facetten van de maatschappij kunnen we duurzame sociale verandering teweegbrengen. NL Cares heeft een enorm netwerk van partners gerealiseerd dat optreedt als een hefboom voor verandering. We leggen verbindingen tussen mensen, bedrijven en maatschappelijke instellingen en organiseren actie rondom betekenisvolle impact. Op deze manier bouwen wij samen aan een ‘caring society’ en een betere wereld. NL Cares bouwt een transformatief systeem bestaande uit 3 verschillende onderdelen - (1) een online platform voor vrijwilligerswerk, (2) CSR programma’s voor bedrijven, (3) social impact events. Samen dient dit systeem als een accelerator voor mensen en organisaties om betekenisvolle impact te maken. De afgelopen jaren heeft NL Cares duurzaam impact gemaakt door jaar op jaar duizenden vrijwilligers in te zetten die samen tienduizenden kwetsbare mensen bereiken. Zo worden er voedselpakketten ingepakt bij voedselbanken, wordt er gewandeld met ouderen, gesport met kinderen, stranden en parken opgeruimd, gesocialized met dak- en thuislozen en geïntegreerd met nieuwkomers. De komende jaren wil NL Cares haar ecosysteem verder uitbouwen om nog meer impact te maken. Dat vraagt om verandering, professionalisering en innovatie. Er zijn tal van technologische innovaties die het online platform voor vrijwilligerswerk nog relevanter en toegankelijker maken. De doorontwikkeling van Social Impact Eventconcepten maakt het mogelijk om op te schalen en nog meer impact te maken. Een verdiepingsslag in de manier waarop NL Cares haar impact meer zal helpen om nog meer bedrijven te inspireren te inspireren in de maatschappij. Hier is de komende jaren veel funding voor nodig.

Ondanks vele initiatieven die zijn opgezet om mensen in nood te helpen zijn er altijd gezinnen die buiten de boot vallen, en voor wie geen regeling is getroffen. Stichting Brood & Leven ondersteunt deze ‘onzichtbare’ gezinnen waar mogelijk. Wij doen dat mede door de samenwerking aan te gaan met donateurs en bedrijven.
